Description:

1. Cost Analysis & Reporting

- Perform detailed cost variance analysis (standard vs actual, material, labor, overhead)

- Monitor and report on production costs, yield variances, and efficiency metrics

- Lead the month-end closing for manufacturing cost and inventory-related accounts
2. Margin & Profitability Management

- Partner with the operation team to analyze and improve gross margin by identifying cost-saving opportunities and inefficiencies

- Evaluate product costing, and routings for accuracy and optimization

- Support pricing and cost-plus calculations for new or existing products
3. Manufacturing KPI Tracking

- Develop dashboards and analytical tools to monitor manufacturing KPIs such as OEE, scrap rates, downtime, quality performance, and capacity utilization

- Provide financial insights that influence decisions on cost reduction, productivity improvements, and capex investments
4. Budgeting & Forecasting

- Lead the budgeting and rolling forecast process for manufacturing costs, working with plant managers and operations leadership

- Track actual vs budget performance and prepare variance analysis with business commentary
5. Strategic Collaboration

- Act as finance business partner to manufacturing and supply chain teams

- Support continuous improvement initiatives and automation projects with financial analysis

- Participate in cross-functional cost-reduction task forces and manufacturing excellence programs

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field (CPA/CMA/MBA a plus).

- 10+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing finance, plant controlling, or cost accounting and at least 5 years at the management position.

- Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory accounting, and manufacturing processes.

- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and advanced Excel or BI tools (Power BI)

- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to interpret operational data into financial insights

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
